A Guide to Measure Your Outdoor Cover for The Perfect Fit
How to Measure Outdoor Cushions?
Follow our detailed measuring guide below to get the perfect sized custom-made cushions for your patio.
Things to Remember
- Measure the furniture seating area instead of the cushion.
- Use a firm tape rather than a flexible one to get the best measurement.
- Round up or round down to the nearest inch for best results.
Types of Cushion Measurements
1. Cushion with the Standard Radius Curve
The radius of the rounded corner is the distance from the inside corner to the point where the curve begins.
- For the most accurate measurement, use a framing square. If it's not available, align two rulers or tape measures so they meet at a right angle.
- Start measuring from the point where the curve begins (Point no 2) and extend it to the inside corner where the two rulers or tape measures meet (Point no 1).
