Plantation Teak
This product is crated from plantation teak grown in Indonesia. The teak is harvested from mature tress that are 50-60 years old. The teak harvested is part of a replenished forestry program, where harvested trees are replaced with a newly planted one. Furniture made from this plantation teak is oven and/or air dried for moisture control and long-lasting durability.

Reclaimed Teak
The reclaimed teak used in this product contains wood that has been reclaimed from old structures such as barns, houses, flooring, or fencing. Because the wood had had a previous purpose, the wood has already been aged and dried, eliminating the need for an additional step to control moisture. Unique plugs and nail holes or aging in the wood plants are normal and are considered to add character to the product. To give it a more rustic appeal, a wire wheel is used to distress the wood.
